Farad Hovercraft
The PRC-650 patrol and rescue hovercraft, developed by the Łukasiewicz Network – Institute of Aviation, was created with the needs of services such as: water emergency, police, fire brigade, border guards and the army in mind. It was presented at this year’s 30th International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, where it aroused the interest of Farada Group, a manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles. President Szymon Kupaj, together with the director of the Institute, Paweł Stężycki, signed an agreement to license the technology and exclusive production of a professional hovercraft for 10 years and its sale in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
